The Lovelady ISD Alumni will accept nominations for its annual Distinguished Alumni award until August 3I, 2023.  Applications may be mailed to 6575 FM 230, Lovelady, TX 75851 or email to mathsleg@live.com.   After consideration, the selection committee will make its final selection.  The new inductees will be announced during the homecoming football game on Oct13, 2023 and their name will be added to the perpetual plaque at Lovelady ISD. The award may be given posthumously.

Criteria for the Distinguished Alumni Award are:

1. Nominations will be accepted for graduates being out of school for a minimum of 15 years.

2. Teacher/coach/administrator/board members may be considered for 10 or more years of service.

3. They must be recognized for outstanding academic or extracurricular achievement.

4. They must be recognized as a positive role model, a demonstrated leader, and a person of character.

5. They must have a positive impact on the community and school district in which they live.

6. They must have exhibited exemplary standards of conduct.
